It is with great pleasure that I write this. I have been in Australia for several years now and have been stuck in the hospitality industry for the last 2 years. It has been tough and a long road to climb out and I often wondered whether there were opportunities that suited me. Through countless online applications and interviews, I could barely see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Nevertheless I kept persisting. I joined GradSolutions mid-year and decided to give the service a chance of moving into a field I studied. After all, it was a cost-effective investment and the Senior Consultants were friendly and may I say, friendly. Was I skeptical? No, as I was referred by a friend, however, I had my doubts.
As weeks progressed, I did attend several interviews and felt I performed well. However there were times when it was tough and the waiting was killing me. Nevertheless, my persistence and continuous consultations with the Senior Consultants at GradSolutions got me through this and eventually I got an unbelievable opportunity at a government institution. I finally moved out from the cycles of life in the hospitality industry and am now working towards growing my career. Life is perfect now!
