It has been a wonderful experience having graduated and completing my bachelor, certainly an achievement worth going through. Throughout my education and independence, I felt wonderful and couldn’t wait to hit the workforce. However, it was a tough end to 2008 and I suddenly felt pressure after having worked part-time in a role I really didn’t want to continue in. My education had equipped me to tackle technical questions as well as walk into any office confident of the knowledge I had gained in the past three years. It was with the deteriorating economic condition that impacted my job prospects and this worried me.

I was lucky then that my friend referred me to GradSolutions. Initially I felt that I could apply and try the job market myself. However, after unsuccessful results, I decided to approach GradSolutions and seek assistance. It was a simple process and it made sense. Through the constant communication with my consultant and the assistance provided by the team, I was able to build confidence and find the right networks to find work. Eventually I found a job in a big four bank and I couldn’t have been happier. I must admit I had lost hope at one stage, however I was always reassured and there was the support I needed.

I highly recommend those who are having problems finding a job and seek professional assistance, especially with GradSolutions. I hope 2009 will be a stronger and more promising year despite the negative news. Best of luck!
