Asiri Pramod

Network Support Engineer
Master of Network Systems
Swinburne University of Technology

My name is Asiri Pramod. I did my Masters in Network Systems at Swinburne University of Technology. I was doing my last semester when I got to know about Gradsolutions when I went to the Herald Sun Job Fair in Melbourne with my friends earlier this year. GradSolutions contacted me within a few days and explained everything clearly and I kept my full faith with them because I felt it was very legitimate.

I was seeking employment for nearly 2 years before (since 2008) but I could not find at least a part time job. I received free career support provided by my university but none of them worked for me. It started to become very stressful for me after a while, and really discouraging as well. I did not get even a single phone interview with my old resume.

Believe me or not, once I enhanced my resume with Gradsolutions, I got the 1st telephone call within 2 weeks. So I got to know that the service really worked. I participated in their Professional Development Program and got in touch with a very kind and experienced Senior Consultant. She taught me everything necessary to get an interview and how to pass an interview from A to Z. Her tips and advice were very helpful because I was an overseas student who didn't have a clue about what Australians expected from candidates.

I took everything seriously and did as my Senior Consultant taught me because I was really fed up of applying for hundreds of applications for 2 years. I did my part and gave it my best shot. I got two interviews in two different companies due to Gradsolutions and finally I was successful with one of the companies. The entire process took only 3 months.

Now I am a Network Support Engineer in an established company; something I wouldn't have even dreamed of before I joined GradSolutions. I am very proud of my job now and I couldn't have done it without help. I think it is very worth "investing" money to maximize you chances with Gradsolutions because their programs really work. Good luck!
