Suheri Purnomo

My name is Suheri Purnomo. I studied Bachelor of Architectural Design at RMIT University and I have just recently graduated in July 2010. I was looking for jobs in the architecture industry with no luck for 3 months prior to joining GradSolutions. I did not know what was wrong in my resume and cover letter. I did get an interview once but was immediately turned down afterwards. I was clueless as how to approach job interviews.
It all changed when I was introduced to GradSolutions on September 2010. A Marketing Officer who was walking around Melbourne CBD with an orange clipboard approached my sister asking if she knew someone who was looking for jobs and she quickly told the person about me. GradSolutions then contacted me shortly after and offered me their training programs. At first I was a bit hesitant but after reading the success stories of the company's past candidates, I began to consider the possibility of using GradSolutions' services to finally land a job.
The first thing that I did after signing up was applying for the Resume Refinement and Cover Letter (RRCL) program. The Senior Consultant did a brilliant job in making my resume convincing enough for prospective employers. I did a little bit of tweaking in terms of layout design and appearances because in the design industry it is essential for resumes to look vibrant and unique. The tweaking process was helped by my Senior Consultant to make sure that the final product could still look professional.
I received calls from some prospective employers after that but my applications were yet to be successful. This prompted my decision to take up the Complete Package. My Senior Consultant pointed out every single thing that I did wrong which hindered me from passing job interviews. She also helped me day by day via phone correspondence, email and face-to-face consultations. She gave me advice on how to present myself properly in an interview, not just through verbal gestures but also physical appearances. Little additional advice and mental support was also provided which boosted my employment chance.
In the end I finally managed to secure a full-time job! As of now I am working as a Design Consultant in an architecture firm and I would like to extend my gratitude to GradSolutions for being helpful and dedicated in helping me during the entire process. All the hard work, tenacity and support from my Senior Consultant were really beneficial for me.
A piece of advice for all job-seekers out there: Never give up! Keep trying even when you fail and be sure to ask GradSolutions to assist you with your concerns. You will achieve your targets and get the positions you want!
